We may update and change the Website from time to time to reflect changes to our clients’ needs and our business priorities. We will use our reasonable endeavours to give you prior notice of any major changes.


5          Our Contents

5.1            We provide the following contents on the Website:

(a)         Latest developments in employment law through briefing notes

(b)        Publication of practice notes for management and HR professionals

(c)         Publication of standard policies and procedures, handbooks and template letters for employers

(d)          Publication of events such as training workshops for management and HR professionals

(e)        Any other services that may be offered by Us from time to time.


6          Subscription and Portal Login

6.1            A subscription to the Website is required if you wish to have full access to all the contents of the Website. The subscription is only available to clients who retain the employment law services of 5 Fifteen Barristers throughout the year.

6.2            To subscribe, you shall make a request by clicking on the “Register” button found on the homepage of the Website.

6.3            Upon the subscription, you will have to submit your contact details and create a unique username and password. Such username and password will be necessary to identify yourself on the Portal Login of the Website.

6.4            Entering your credentials on the Website is proof of your identity and We shall not be held liable for any loss or damage arising out of inter alia identity theft. You are the only one responsible for the safeguard of your personal credentials and you are solely responsible for the use of your credentials, even if these credentials have been automatically saved on a computer, smartphone or any other device allowing an automatic identification and connexion to the Website.

6.5            You shall be solely responsible for any loss, misappropriation or unauthorised use of your credentials on the Website. In any of the above-mentioned event, you shall forthwith notify Us in writing so that We may reinitialise your account.


7          Your Obligations

7.1            You may use the Website only for lawful purposes and you must not use the Website:

(a)         In any way that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation.

(b)        In any way that is unlawful or fraudulent, or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect.

7.3            When We consider that a breach of these Terms of Use has occurred, We may take such action as We deem appropriate. Failure to comply with any provision of these Terms of Use constitutes a material breach and may result in (i) deactivation of your account on the Website, (ii) temporary or permanent withdrawal of your right to use the Website; or (iii) legal proceedings against you.

8.1            We do not guarantee that the Website, or any content published on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted.

9.2            Save and except with the prior written consent of 5 Fifteen Barristers, any reproduction, representation, use or adaptation in any form whatsoever of all or any part of the Website’s contents are strictly prohibited.

9.3            Our status (and that of any identified contributors) as the authors of any content on the Website must always be acknowledged. You must not use any part of the content on the Website for commercial purposes without obtaining a prior written consent from Us.

These Terms of Use shall be governed by the laws of Mauritius and the courts of Mauritius shall have the exclusive jurisdiction, save and except when the laws expressly provide otherwise.
